Apple is locking down Full Disk Access because of AI agents
Is your coding agent about to lose access to your files?
Apple announced it's tightening macOS 'Full Disk Access' controls, saying AI agents' growing ability to read files, messages, mail, and browser history makes the old broad-access model too risky. The new controls add friction before an app can get that level of permission.
